What gets repaired
Trouble-shooting on any brand. Air conditioning calls tend to come down to a short list of parts:
- Capacitors and contactors at the condenser
- Condenser fan motors and blower motors
- Blower belts and bearings
- Control boards and thermostat wiring
- Float switches and drain lines
- Refrigerant charge and the coil
Most calls start like this
Pick the one that sounds like yours. Each guide says what you can check yourself, what gets checked first when the unit is opened, and whether it is usually a repair or a replacement conversation.
- AC blowing warm air: what to check
- AC won't turn on: what to check
- Ice on the AC lines: what to do
- AC keeps tripping the breaker
- AC runs and never stops: why
- Loud, grinding or squealing HVAC
Repair or replace
A failed capacitor is the most common part on the truck, and it is usually a repair. If the unit is old and the problem is a leak or a shorted compressor, we talk about both options, with the numbers for a new system and $0 down financing beside the repair.
How to start
Say what the unit is doing and where the house or the store is. Outside our hours, send a text with a number to call back on. The estimate is free.
